Merderah Soundkilla (aka mer-der-ah) began producing beats at the age of 16, using a TR-909, TR-808 and various synths. Later moving on to sample based production, he mastered drum programming and had an ear for sick basslines.

A few years later (in 2002), Merderah Soundkilla began dj'ing on the side. Playing at underground parties, he quickly became known in the local scene.

Over the years, we've seen Merderah Soundkilla encompass all that is electronic music, with a love for Drum n Bass and Electro. Currently we see Merderah Soundkilla producing lots of Hip-Hop gems, smashing Electro-Pop, Dubstep and Electrohouse. He's also the production powerhouse behind Speaker Kings and runs a private record label on the side.

Currently, he DJ's as a guest DJ in clubs around Montreal, across the USA and Asia and promotes the hottest music in the scene on his mixtapes.

Some of his notable successes; his electro-pop remix of J Soul Brothers - Generation, his remix of M-Flo - Loop in my Heart, his original track Ocelot Syndrome (over 1000 monthly downloads), his Beat Fighter series of Mixtapes (which total over 3500 downloads monthly avg) and his Mixtape Merder Mixtape series (avg over 4000 downloads, monthly).
